In-clinic Tablet App
Devices: Tablet
Role: UX & Visual Design
This was a project for a eye clinic in Los Angeles. The requirement was to design an application that would help patients register and learn more about their visit. It would also contain relevant ads.
Project Summary
The project was to create a consumer facing tablet app eye clinic. The app would be used to check in patients while waiting in the waiting room. Tablets would be provided and the interface would help them check-in, as well as browse relevant information and products to their condition.
I helped move the project from conception to visual design – driving the user experience, visual design.
UX Design
Deliverables included site maps, and taxonomy study.

Visual Design
This clinic had a basic visual identity, but wanted a somewhat skeuomorphic look. Brand colors were midnight blue and dark orange. A neutral gray was added to lend some contrast relief to the UI elements.
